Please make welcome our wonderful Design Team for the January - June period!!!
SVETLANA MARDYBAN (UKRAINE)
A Little bit about me:
My name is Sveta and I'm from Odessa a beautiful city on the Black Sea shore (Ukraine).
I have been married for about two months and have just got back from our honeymoon :)
Family for me is the most important thing in my life. I like to travel, to make photos and of course to scrapbook.
Besides my hobbies I work as a ships crew coordinator. Sometimes it's hard to combine work, family and hobbies, but I'm really thankful for all I have in my life.
Last year (2013) I found what I've looked for all my life "Scrapbooking" that makes me feel really full and my own family that makes me full even more).
I wish everyone to find their happiness in the New Year!

GOSIA SWINIARSKA (POLAND)
Hi! My name is Gosia Świniarska, known as Smile_Art, I live near Poznań in Poland.
As a child I liked everything made with paper.
In 2011 I began my short adventure with decoupage, but scrapbooking is something that I love!
I started with cards, but now I like art journals, albums, ATC’s and layouts(!) too. I haven’t my own style, Sometimes my works are simple and another time I like to get messy.
All the time I learn new techniques and I am so happy that I can join this amazing DT!

I am also on the DT at Show Us Your Stuff and for D-lish Scraps.
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Graphic design at Latrobe University in Bendigo, and live between there and our farm near Murtoa, Victoria.

ANNIE CLAXTON (UK)
Hi there! My name’s Annie Claxton and I’m chuffed to bits to be joining the 1-2-3 Challenge Blog design team!
Home is a tiny cottage in Norfolk, England, where I live with my husband, John. Luckily, he’s very tolerant of my craft addiction - earlier this year he even helped me to turn our spare room into a creative space just for me and now I spend many happy hours “playing in my room”.
My boys, Richard and Tom, are all grown up and flown away now, but I still have 30 years’ worth of photos of them to scrap – enough to keep me busy for quite a while! Family, friends and my funny old cat Archie are my favourite subjects to scrap about.
When I was introduced to scrapping in 2007, I immediately knew that I had found my “thing”. There are just so many reasons to love scrapping aren’t there? As a creative outlet; as a way to preserve your photos and tell your stories; and as a great excuse to hoard stuff and buy lots of pretty things! What’s not to love?!
A whole new world opened up to me a couple of years ago when I first discovered how much inspiration can be found on the internet, with amazing artists from all over the world happy to share their ideas and offer support and encouragement to each other – it just blew me away!
I used to be such a technophobe, but these days I love exploring the internet, meeting like-minded people and entering challenges.
I’m currently on the design team for C.S.I (which I love) and I’m so proud and excited to be joining the 1-2-3 Challenge team!
My scrapping style is continually evolving – at the moment I love strong colours, contrasting textures and patterns, lots of layering and distressing. I like to use recycled and “found” objects and make my own embellishments. I really enjoy experimenting with mixed media but I have such a lot to learn!
To me, one of the best things about scrapping is that you never stop learning and growing; the possibilities are endless … watch this space!
Oh dear! I seem to have waffled on for ever – did I mention that I talk a lot??!!? :o)

ALISON CALLCOTT (AUSTRALIA)
Hi! My name is Alison but my friends call me Alz. I live in Melbourne with my truly amazing husband Geoff, and our gorgeous, laidback Kelpie/Heeler cross Bear. I also live with MS.
I’ve been scrapbooking for eight years. My style is mostly mixed media although depending on my subject matter, my scrapping can also be quite clean, simple and elegant, fun and funky, or whimsical. In my studio, pretty much anything goes!
When not scrapping, you can usually find me at the beach, doing obedience and agility training with Bear, socialising with my girlfriends, and pretending (on occasion) to be a domestic goddess.
I’m both thrilled and honoured to join the girls on the 123 Design Team and look forward to the journey ahead. Cheers!
RETURNING TO THE 123 CHALLENGE BLOG DESIGN TEAM ARE...
SARAH GROEN... (NZ)
Hi thereI live in Auckland NZ with my hubby of over years (Mark) and my 6 gorgeous kids ranging in ages from 4 to 23 – so lots of inspiration there !. I am a stay at home mum and since I discovered scrapbooking I have been a hopeless addict. I am currently on the design team for the NZ scrapbook store Scottie Crafts, the Australian based chipboard manufacturer, ‘2Crafty’, and the on-line challenge blogs, “Stuck Sketches” and “CSI”. I have been published many times both in NZ and overseas and in 2009 I was lucky enough to be chosen as an Elite Team member for Up2Scrap, NZs premiere scrapbooking magazine.
I am delighted and honored to be on the 1, 2, 3, Challenge Blog Creative team for another term. I hope that my pages will be inspirational to others.

RAQUEL BOWMAN...
My name is Raquel Bowman and I am mum to Charlotte who is 14 months and wife to Clint.
I am a primary school teacher and also dabble in a little online kit club called 'A Piece of Cake Designs, where I specialize in kits but also flair buttons and wood veneer.
I have been scrapping for around ten years now and feel I have finally 'found' my style. I'm a lover of layers and clusters and love adding little details while still maintaining white space and a cleanliness to my layouts. My favourite brands are anything that comes under the American Crafts banner; Studio Calico, Crate Paper, American Crafts (Dear Lizzy and Amy Tan).
I have recently been on the design team for Jot Magazine, but have just been named one of the ten Scrapbooking Memories Masters in an Australian magazine, which is quite an honour that I am still pinching myself about.
I have been published in quite a number of Magazines, both in the UK, France, US and Australia. You can see my publication details and my layouts on my blog
